建築は生命を表象することなく静かに我々を見ている
物言わぬジオメトリーによって建築はそれとして何もまとわぬ姿のまますべてを吸収していく
光・風・水……自然のものすべてを
建築についての観念は自然についての観念なしには語れない
敷地の性格を明らかにすることによりランドスケープは理解可能なものになる
そこに描かれる形態は鉛筆の最初の1本の線のごとく永続的で凝縮されたものとなることを欲している
そしてドローイングとその痕跡が統括されたとき建築は目に見える音楽になる…
Architecture quietly looks at us without representing life
With its silent geometry, architecture absorbs everything while still wearing nothing.
Light, wind, water...everything in nature
Ideas about architecture cannot speak without ideas about nature
Landscape becomes understandable by revealing the character of the site
I want the form drawn there to be as permanent and condensed as the first line of a pencil.
And when drawings and their traces are integrated, architecture becomes visible music...
